A digital experience that reaches the children’s room you imagine
We designed NANU Bedtime’s e-commerce experience not as a digital shop that merely lists products, but — with 1page-Commerce — as a complete brand world in which families can discover safe, comfortable and inspiring spaces for their children.
About Nanubedtime.com
Founded in 2014, NANU Bedtime designs distinctive, high-quality sleep products for babies and children. What began with sleepwear and bed textiles has grown into furniture and décor solutions for baby, children’s and teen rooms. NANU designs its products around five core principles: health and safety, simplicity, functionality, comfort and lasting value. The range also includes original designs such as the patented Skin Bumper, along with made-to-order options.

Challenge
Shopping for a children’s room is about far more than picking a bed, a wardrobe or a piece of textile. Families want to see how the pieces look together, how they will support the child’s development and what kind of living space they will create. With categories ranging from beds and cribs to lighting, from bedding to pyjamas, presenting every product group on one platform made it critical for visitors to find what they were looking for quickly. In baby and children’s furniture, material quality, safety, paint content, functionality and lifespan matter as much as price. When those qualities could not be conveyed properly online, deciding without seeing the product in person was hard. Children’s rooms differ by the size of the space, the age of the child, the needs of the family and personal taste. A standard product listing could not do justice to the design capability of a brand that produces made-to-order pieces. Keeping NANU’s expertise in healthy sleep, child safety, product design and room planning separate from the e-commerce experience risked leaving the brand’s value out of the purchase decision. Presenting products as different as furniture, décor, bed textiles, pyjamas and children’s clothing within one shopping journey demanded a flexible, joined-up commerce platform. For high-consideration products such as furniture in particular, the customer experience does not end with the order. Delivery, cancellation, returns, communication and order tracking are just as much a part of trust in the brand.
Solution
We brought NANU Dream Rooms, complementary furniture, décor items and sleep textiles together in a single digital experience. Inspiring room examples and brand content let visitors discover a complete room idea before looking at individual products. We organised the range into a clear category structure — furniture, room décor, bedroom textiles, pyjamas, baby and children’s clothing, and complementary products — and simplified discovery with search, product listings, category pages and product detail pages. We carried NANU’s principles of health and safety, simplicity, functionality, comfort and lasting value onto the commerce platform through content that supports the product experience. Product pages became points of trust that explain the design approach, the material quality, how the piece is used and the benefit it delivers. We made NANU’s made-to-order and room-design approach a visible part of the digital brand experience, so visitors could learn about the room-design process and the world of complementary products alongside the ready-made range. We brought the brand story, the importance of good sleep, the five design principles, the Skin Bumper and room design under the same digital roof as the product categories, creating a content-led commerce experience in which visitors move from the content that introduces the brand straight to the relevant products. With 1page-Commerce we unified the different product groups on a shared product catalogue, membership, basket and order infrastructure, and made promotional pricing, featured products and outlet categories manageable through the same commerce layer. We brought membership, customer accounts, orders and post-purchase communication together on one e-commerce foundation, and made delivery, cancellation, return and contact information easy for customers to reach.
Result
The e-commerce experience turned from a catalogue you search into an inspiring digital store where the children’s room you imagine is discovered. Visitors now reach the products that suit them without getting lost in a wide range, and can meet every need of a children’s room on a single platform. A more informed shopping experience emerged, in which products are judged not only by how they look but by the long-term benefit they bring to the child and the living space. The digital store stopped being a channel that only sells ready-made products and became a starting point where families meet room solutions built around their own needs. Content became a digital sales instrument: it builds trust, makes discovery easier and supports the purchase decision. Families can now cover everything from the furniture and textiles of a children’s room to its décor and complementary accessories with one account and one basket. A consistent, reassuring customer experience was created — from product discovery to purchase, from order management to after-sales contact.
