Bring store and online channels into a single customer view
When stock, order and customer data stay in separate systems per channel, both the operation and the experience break. We build the retail stack end to end on a single data layer.
Retail & E-Commerce
The customer journey starts in store and continues online, while the data lives in separate systems per channel. Cross-channel stock visibility, order consolidation and loyalty carried between store and online are the three break points we see most often in retail.

How we solve it with the INNTHEBOX Platform
We moved commerce onto one platform
The first step was the foundation: we consolidated store, web and marketplace orders on Commerce. Product catalogue and inventory came under one source; differences in stock between channels and duplicate orders disappeared. For the first time the operations team could watch every channel from the same screen.
We made loyalty channel-independent
Next came knowing the customer. With Loyalty, points earned in store became valid online and rewards earned online became valid in store. The distinction between “store customer” and “online customer” disappeared — one programme, one balance, one customer profile.
We connected management to live data
In the final step we accelerated decision-making: with Query, revenue, sales and conversion can be asked for in natural language, broken down by channel. Management, which used to wait for a weekly report, now asks over morning coffee “which channel sold what yesterday” and gets an answer in seconds.
The challenges we meet most often
Working with brands in this sector, the same problems keep coming up. We address them first when we design the solution.
Cross-channel stock
A product sold out in store is still being sold online, while an item in the warehouse shows as “out of stock” in store. When stock is not visible from a single source, you lose sales and returns go up.
Channel-independent loyalty
When points earned in store can't be used online, customers feel they are shopping at two separate stores rather than with one brand.
Order consolidation
When web, store and marketplace orders are managed on separate screens, double shipments, late deliveries and lost orders become inevitable.
Up-to-date decision data
When revenue and conversion reports are prepared weekly, campaign and stock decisions always lag a week behind.
