Our Story

A technology journey born of consulting experience, turning innovative ideas into products that work in the field

Our story did not begin with the idea of founding a software company or opening an office; it began with the desire to turn the product-driven mindset of the world's technology leaders into a way of working and building that can genuinely be put into practice.

What impressed us was not only the technology those companies built. What mattered more to us was this: small, capable teams solving large problems, ideas tested quickly, every experience turned into a new opportunity to improve, and user experience placed at the centre of product development.

Rather than importing that innovative approach unchanged, we adapted it to local business culture, to the real needs of organisations and to the dynamics of everyday operations.

The result was a company that sees a problem where it actually occurs, learns alongside the user, and turns what it learns directly into solutions that can be put to work.

We built the way we work before we built an office

First we designed how we would work. It was an approach ahead of its time: a mobile structure with no fixed headquarters, where teams use the co-working space closest to home, meetings run online, and we can work at the customer's side whenever that is what the job needs.

We shipped our colleagues boxes containing their computers, phones and everyday essentials. The name INNTHEBOX came not only from those boxes, but from the idea of thinking outside the box with everything the box provides.

Then we designed the culture before the technology

We cared about the value created, far more than the place it was created in. We put people at the centre of our working culture, and supported them in working from home, from co-working spaces, from customer offices or from wherever the work required.

Because what mattered to us was never where someone works, but whether they complete the responsibility they take on — on time, at the expected quality, and in a way that contributes to shared goals.

Every colleague who embraced this approach combined the freedom our culture offered with a sense of responsibility. Over time, their contributions shaped our culture into the shared mindset that defines who we are today.

From their very first day, we wanted every new colleague to understand that our culture is built on creating together, not just individual success. That is why we ended our first-day welcome message with a quote that captures what being a team means to us.

My model for business is the Beatles. There were four men who kept one another’s negative tendencies in check. They balanced one another, and the whole was greater than the sum of its parts. This is how I see business: great things in business are never done by one person; they are done by a group of people.

We will make a great team with you. Welcome aboard.

From consulting experience to a product company

The experience we gained in enterprise CRM and digital transformation projects showed us that the same problem recurs, again and again, across very different companies.

We combined our expertise in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure ecosystem with the agility of the products we build ourselves.

Over time, that accumulated knowledge became INNTHEBOX Platform.

Today, with CRM, Loyalty, Campaign, Force, Quote, Commerce, Marketing and Query, we offer an integrated ecosystem that spans CRM to loyalty, field sales to digital commerce, marketing automation to analytics.

For us, building a product is not simply moving existing processes into a digital environment. It is removing unnecessary steps, making teams' work easier, and turning data into something you can decide on.

For us, innovation is a habit that produces results

We never treated research and development as a seasonal activity. We spent our spare time building products, trying out new technologies and acquiring new capabilities. We have consistently set aside a meaningful share of our budget for R&D.

Over time, those investments turned into new products, new ways of working, and the platform approach that defines us today.

From today into tomorrow

Today we bring consulting experience, product development discipline and cross-industry knowledge together under one roof. We design sustainable systems that not only meet an organisation's current needs, but can expand as those needs and the organisation grow.

Because for us, innovation means seeing the future differently, making it applicable today, and changing the present.

That is why we are called INNTHEBOX: INNovation in THE BOX.
